Emerald Figueroa joins me in teaching you how to be a health conscious beauty by creating your own V8 juice. We used a Vitamix blender to blend up the following, tomato, celery, cucumber, carrot, lemon, beat, spinach, and basil.
Try it out yourself but remember to cut up the pieces well before tossing into the blender if you are using a regular blender.

Add the Vitamix to Your Kitchen

An excerpt from the video transcript.

"Hello and welcome to the first episode conscious beauty tips and today we have a DIY. I'm here with my friend and Emerald. We are going to be doing a V8 juice today. Now I'm use to juicing with a juicer. But today we are going to be juicing in a blender please show me how we can do that today.
Absolutely well one of the first things that most people don't really know about blending and juicing, I was always told by a a woman who was really well in the industry well known in the industry. She said when you are healthy blend and when you're not well or need extra nutrients you juice. What we have to work with, we have tomatoes which is a nice base and then we have celery and we have carrots, purple carrots. This is the way carrots its use to be but we have hybridized for the yellow carrots so in my yard and we have purple carat and we also have fresh basil its a great touch it's not something that's absolutely necessary for the recipe. Beats switch give the drink a beautiful rich red color."
