About Yogic Stretch and The Instructor Yogic stretching combines yoga poses with dance prep stretch, warm ups, & workouts. Melissa takes you through a series of stretches and warm ups any dancer would do before the start of class. From her years of being on competitive dance teams, Melissa has learned many stretches, warm ups, and exercises to prep the body for optimal movement.
Influenced by Kundalini, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Melissa leads you through a series of slow flow poses. Guided by breathwork, poses are held for longer periods of time as you and your muscles learn to relax under challenging situations.
Yogic Stretch provides the framework to work on focused core conditioning movements, similar to the workouts dancers do in conditioning classes. Yogic Stretch allows for the opportunity to tone muscles while maintaining flexibility.
